Video quality/size

Wandering if you guys know a way to keep video quality high, but the file size remains small(60-100mb) for a 4min or less video.

Im using fraps. I convert the avi to wmv which helps a lot. Im trying with live movie maker and adobe. Both of those programs create the movie and its almost 500mb, no more than 3mins in length. I tried saving differently and the video quality sucks, you can see via my youtube page.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

For YouTube and the like I use Adobe's Media Encoder. It converts to h.264, flash,etc and produces small files that look pretty good. I'm not sure which formats the free version outputs.
